Ms. Rigel Ferrin is the founder and owner of Space Transformer NYC LLC. Her academic background begun in fine arts and art history, with a BFA in Fine Arts which led her to work in advertising, graphic design, package design, pattern making, and digital and filmphotography.

 

A devoted gardener from a young age she merged all her passions into building a business that would cater to clients with specific design needs and solutions. While living in Greenpoint Brooklyn for more than 15 years she realized that her large sun drenched apartment was the perfect environment to experiment with interior design. To enhance, elevate, and add elegance with customized details to living spaces, she began sourcing artwork from fellow artist and seasonal art shows, curating color palettes and patterns along with furnishings, vintage and modern items, and plants. After a few years working in other endeavors domestically and internationally, artist friends and fellow plant lovers encouraged her to turn her energies and passions into formally offering services in which she now specializes. In 2012 Ms. Ferrin started her business, and steadily grew it into the boutique, contemporary, environmentally conscious service company it is today.

We believe that incorporating interior plants and art revitalizes any interior design project. We specialize in using new and antique artworks, and indoor plants to enhance a client's home, looking for patterns and colors in their interior spaces that complement the clients individual aesthetics.

Likewise in our plant care services, we are committed to using established and innovative ecological practices, and materials, assuring that our client's plant collections receive updated, science-based care, and effective remedial non-toxic pest treatments.
